Author’s Note: So, I woke up this morning and the following was my very first thought. Like something my heart had managed to pen down while still dancing in the sleepy stupor.
“Some people are like daggers in our hearts. They sink so deep within; it’s extremely painful and (maybe even) life threatening. Attempt to pull them all out and you will haemorrhage. Unless, it is done in presence of care, so that you can be stitched back up again. But the thing is, sometimes you need to do it all by yourself. Strengthen yourself enough to stitch yourself back up while simultaneously caring for your wounds as you pull the knife out and start to bleed….”
